Outreach

First Saturday is an opportunity for us to join with other churches in our area to reach out and Serve the World right here in our local community.  We do that through service projects such as prayer walks, visiting nursing homes, raking yards, cleaning up the community, and endless other opportunities.

First Saturday is an opportunity to Serve the World in Watseka through various service projects. We encourage you to bring your family and join us at 8:00 AM at the church. Please sign up at the Information Center to participate. Projects this month include:

"Yours for the Taking" Rummage Sale

Start cleaning out your closets for this community event.  Bring your gently used items to the church on Thursday, April 29 from 5-9 PM or Friday, April 30 from 9-9.  Volunteers are needed for the collection days and to help with the sale.

*Quilting

• Nursing home visitation

• Learning to crochet to make “lap-ghans” for nursing home residents

• Oil changes in Ashkum

*May baskets

• Prayer walk through the community

• Painting

Come join us on First Saturday where disciples are encouraged to be Spirit-led in sharing Christ and serving the needs of others.
