Love God
“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” (Matthew 22:37b-39, ESV)
At Trinity Church we believe we exist for one foundational reason: to make disciples. The first step in being a disciple is to love God through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Loving God is best expressed through personal and corporate worship and prayer. This can happen through attendance of weekly worship service with other followers of Jesus, and dedication to seeking God in a personal way through prayer and Bible study.
Love Others
“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” (Matthew 22:37b-39, ESV)
At Trinity Church we believe the best way to express our love for others is to be connected with a group of Jesus followers. Trinity Church has many different group options that can fit your lifestyle. Whether you prefer a woman’s or men’s group, a home-based small group, or a group that serves in ministry together, it is important to never attempt to live the Christian life alone.
We also believe we need to express our love for others by serving in ministry. God has given us each abilities, gifts, and talents to be used to build up the body of Christ. At Trinity Church we believe we all have a role to play in having the church be all that God desires us to be.
Serve the World
“Jesus came and said to them, All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20, ESV)
Serving the world is what God has called us each to do. Jesus left his followers with a command commonly referred to as the Great Commission, to go and make disciples in all the world. The ultimate act of service is to make another follower of Jesus. This is why we believe at Trinity Church that reaching out to those who don’t know Christ personally is important for all believers.
