As Lead Pastor of Trinity Church, Dave's role is praying for, teaching, and equipping the church to make disciples who Love God, Love Others, and Serve the World. Passionately committed to helping people grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ, he is dedicated to the life- transforming power of Scripture and prayer. He believes life transformation takes place by becoming dependent upon the Word and empowered by the Spirit. Therefore, he uses creative verse-by-verse teaching with practical application for everyday life, encouraging people to engage God with passion.
Dave is married to Kelly and they have two daughters, Joely and Clare. Their family is committed to seeing Jesus make a real difference in the lives of the people.
Dave’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from Drake University in Des Moines, IA and a Master of Divinity with Biblical Languages degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX.
